LOGAN FARM PUMPKIN PATCH

Over fifty artists, families, and organizations participated in our first-ever Logan Farm Pumpkin Patch Art Contest! These fall-themed works of art are now on display at Logan Farm Park. As you explore the park to see all the decorated wooden pumpkins, kids can participate in a scavenger hunt to win a bag of goodies. Scavenger hunt cards are available for pick up at the Acworth Community Center or can be downloaded here.

Return your completed scavenger hunt card to the Acworth Community Center to win a bag for treats!

VIRTUAL COSTUME CONTEST

Throughout October all boys and ghouls are invited to visit the Acworth Community Center in their Halloween costume to receive a free bag of goodies. Don’t forget to ask about our virtual costume contest! Winners will be chosen via online voting on our Facebook page. The top three entries will receive a special prize! Enter by October 29.

NORTH COBB REGIONAL LIBRARY BOOK WALK

Through the magic of QR code technology, read a spooktacular book with Ms. Kate and Ms. Neely from North Cobb Regional Library as you walk along the trails of Logan Farm Park. All you need to participate is a mobile device. Two trails with two stories are available for you and your family to explore! For the little kids, walk the Ghosts in the House! by Kazuno Kohara. Beware of the Frog by William Bee is on the longer big kids trail. Find the trail location by scanning the QR codes on the BOOOOK Walk signs at Logan Farm Park.

Acworth Scarecrow Parade

The Acworth Scarecrow Parade is back for its tenth year! Schools, businesses, non-profits, and other organizations created scarecrows to decorate Downtown Acworth for the fall season. Scarecrows will begin parading throughout historic downtown Acworth on Monday, October 5.  They will continue to be on display until Friday, November 6. The theme for this year’s Scarecrow Parade is TOTALLY 80’s!

Acworth Ghost Tours

At 7:30 pm every Friday and Saturday evening (weather permitting) in the month of October. Private tours also available all year long.
Space on all tours is limited and advance tickets are required. No reservations are held without ticket purchase. You must purchase advance tickets by calling 770-653-0756 or by visiting their facebook page @AcworthGhostTours.  Use the Book Now button to purchase tickets for specific dates.
The tour guides tell stories based on a mix of documented sightings, firsthand experience, research, and history. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and feel free to bring a flashlight and a camera. You are welcome to bring your own ghost hunter equipment if you would like. Also, please bring an empty bladder, as there are no public restrooms on the tour. Tours last between ninety minutes to two hours and participants walk 1.2 miles on sidewalks in historic Acworth.

Folklore Haunted House

Folklore Haunted House is Atlanta’s must-see haunted house event. Folklore haunted house is open for 24 nights in October and features 2 terrifying and incredibly elaborate haunted houses and other curiosities. Folklore Haunted House has been seen on numerous media entities, including NBC, FOX, and USA’s Greatest Haunts.
